The main function of the fuel tank in the advance self-propelled scissor lift’s hydraulic system is to store oil, heat distribution, separation of precipitation contaminants and water, etc. And sometimes it can be install platform of hydraulic valve and other components. According to the specific conditions of the system, select a tank with reasonable volume, form and attachments to make the tank fully effective. Hydraulic oil tank can be simply divided to 2 types: open and closed.

Open tank is widely used in many applications. The inside oil surface and the atmosphere outside is connected, air filter is set at the top of the tank in order to prevent oil from air pollution, and used as the filling port at the same time.

Closed oil tank for advance self-propelled scissor lifts

Closed oil tank generally refers to the oil tank does not connect directly with the atmosphere, and the inert gas vent in contact with a certain pressure, inflation pressure is up to 0.05MPa. Tank pressure to be applied to all points of the system and can be used in the working site and occasion with strict requirements like underwater or aerial pressure or no stable job stability and noise, etc.

While the tank pressure rise will increase the air content in the oil, it is appropriate only in a closed tank really necessary for special occasions, so it’s better to use only in the suggested special conditions.
