Scissor lift maintenance-have you done it wrong

Some people might take less time to do scissor lift maintenance, while others might over do it,  have you made the same mistakes? Check the following info as a reference. 


1, Add too much oil
When the scissor lift is lack of oil, poor lubrication will happen to the bearing and journal part, and lead to increased wear and even burn the related part. However, if added too much oil, the same engine would fail either, violently stir at the crank handle and the connecting rod big end in operation, it would increase the engine power loss, and the oil splashed on the cylinder wall will be increased. Therefore, the oil should be controlled according to the dipstick-in the proper range.

2, Using wrong types of tires
Some scissor lift drivers prefer "imported" tires, while the tires should be chosen with some investigation. The road conditions in different cities could be very different from each other, if you choose the wrong tires, so it is unlikely to have the best performance. The tires made in foreign countries always do some modification work to make it fit with the domestic road conditions, for example adds a layer to the tires cord fabric to increase the impact resistance of the tires’ sidewall .

3, Change the scissor lift design
The owners of the scissor lift would like to do some changes to make it more fit to the specific work, while some of the modification work is not handled properly, it would affect the scissor lift performance and manipulation, and the safety matters.
