Why the research of hybrid scissor lift design is necessary

Traditional aerial lifting platform is becoming one of the major researching objects in the energy-saving and environmental-protection field because of its high petrol consumption, low efficiency, and severe pollution and wasting of gravitational potential energy. Therefore, producing hybrid scissor lift design with the characteristics of high efficiency, energy saving and environment protection is an important aim for many companies in domestic and abroad market which apply strategy of sustainable development.



At present, research of energy saving of hybrid scissor lift design mainly includes the following three aspects: improving the performance of generator set, replacing the diesel generator set with commercial power and adopting hybrid power technology. The first method can reduce petrol consumption and save cost through optimizing the control algorithm of the generator set and improving the efficiency of generator set, but the effect of energy saving is limited. Though the second one can save energy via utilize electrical power which have higher performance price ratio than petrol, it has the disadvantages of high cost, complication of local environment for all kinds of electrical wires in frequent use, lack of agility when the working location is changed, gravitational energy of the load is wasted, enhance utilization ratio of the resource, all hybrid scissor lift design researches are aimed at improving the control strategy of the whole system.
